A WISHR Guide to the Harvard Sciences
The Resource committee will regularly update this page with useful information throughout the year. In preparation for the fall, we provided an easy to use guide with information about the different science concentrations at Harvard. See below.

Various Certificate Programs in the Sciences
Some students at Harvard decide to supplement their concentration by pursuing an honors track, certificate, or secondary field (aka minor). Some students opt to use these opportunities to explore fields in the humanities. We decided to list a few of the commonly pursued science tracks and certificates below.
Mind Brain and Behavior (MBB) | website
MBB can be taken as a secondary field or an honors track, which allows you to modify some of your concentration requirements in favor of courses related to neuroscience/psychology. Course requirements vary per field. Students who take MBB as a track are required to conduct research and write a senior thesis, as it is an honors track. For research opportunities in MBB, visit their website, which is really useful and updated frequently.
Health Policy Secondary Field | website
A popular option for students interested in public health and the factors that shape our health care, a health policy secondary is a total of 5 half courses. Health policy courses range from anthropology to economics to history.
